Wings of Freedom Makes a Landing in Morrison’s Cove

The Wings of Freedom made a hard landing for the weekend at the Altoona-Blair County Airport.  The Wings of Freedom consisted of a few planes that were used in World War II and allowed people to take a close look at the planes.  Access to the inside of the planes was also allowed, which allowed you to take a glimpse of what it would be like to ride inside.  We thank this organization for stopping in the Cove and allowing us to see these great pieces of history.
