Kyle Brantner is a 15 year old race driver from Bedford, PA. Kyle started his racing career at age 9 in go-karts, racing at Cove Valley Speedway. He soon moved to race with the adults in the “Super Heavy” class of karts at Cove View Speedway.
Due to Kyle’s success in the lower classes, he was admitted early into the adult class at age 13. Winning several feature races at Cove View Speedway, Kyle finnished 2nd in championship points in his final season in karts. In the offseason, the decision was made to move up from karts and into stock cars at the Bedford Speedway.
Kyle Brantner Racing obtained the championship winning Chevorlet Monte Carlo race car of Marshall Detwiler, and the transition began. The #56 car got a new body and the iconic white with checkered-flag graphics that Kyle has been known for since his first race.
Kyle will be changing from #88 to #88k at the Bedford Speedway. Kyle will race a limited schedule during his rookie season, and can be seen on select nights at The Bedford Speedway in the Pure Stock class. He is very fortunate to have some incredible sponsors that include Queen City Fruit and Produce, Precision AutoSound & Performance of Bedford, The Bison Corral Gift Shop of Schellsburg, Duffy’s Carpet Cleaning of Bedford, The Bedford County Pistol League, and Sipes Body Shop of Bedford. Kyle’s primary sponsor is Accurate Claim Technologies, which is owned by his parents Dustin and Michele Brantner.
Kyle Brantner Racing’s pit crew is headed by Daniel and Bryce Woodring, and team support from his parents and friend Jacob Chancellor, and technical support from Brantner Performance of Three Springs, PA.
Kyle is an honor-roll student in 9th grade at Bedford High School, with interests in sports and meteorology. His career highlights include several feature wins at both Cove Valley and Cove View Speedways, and top-5 finishes in each of his years racing against the aduts in the “Super Heavy” division. In October of 2015, Kyle got the great fortune to meet his racing idol, Dale Earnhardt Jr. at the Dover International Speedway.
