This time of year is full of tradition in Morrison’s Cove and most areas. We started off by having Thanksgiving with our families on Thursday, waking up Friday morning to go Black Friday shopping, and then finish it off with a trip cut down a Christmas tree. Most will spend today still eating leftover turkey and possibly finish decorating their properties. Yesterday, we decided to go to JB Tree Farm to get our Christmas tree. It starts off with a cup of hot chocolate to keep us warm and a wagon ride behind beautiful horses. Of course, the tree has to be perfect. After cutting down the perfect tree, we wait for the horses to pick us up and take us back to headquarters. Diamond Lane Farm out of Baker’s Summit had their horses there and was an absolute beautiful site to see. Nothing says Christmas like horses, hot chocolate, and a fresh smelling tree.
